SayVeritas is operated by Chamberlin Innovations SASU. These terms describe the conditions for using our website and educational platform.
Using SayVeritas
SayVeritas provides tools for oral assessment, learning practice, and reflection. Use the service only for lawful educational purposes and in accordance with these terms and any agreement between your institution and Chamberlin Innovations. If an institutional agreement covers the same subject, that agreement takes precedence.
Accounts and access
Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in details secure, and use only accounts and classes you are authorised to access. Teachers and institutions are responsible for managing their classes and permissions. Students should use the access provided by their teacher or institution. Report suspected unauthorised access to us.
Student information and privacy
Only upload or share information you are authorised to use. Teachers and institutions must ensure that required notices, permissions, and consents are in place before introducing students to the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Institutional data processing agreements apply where agreed.
Your content
You retain your rights in content you submit. You authorise us to process that content as needed to operate the service and provide the features you use, subject to our Privacy Policy and any applicable data processing agreement. Do not upload content that infringes another person’s rights.
AI and teacher oversight
AI-generated questions, transcripts, feedback, and scoring suggestions may contain errors. Teachers must review outputs before relying on them for assessment decisions or sharing them with students. SayVeritas supports professional judgement; it does not replace it. Do not use automated outputs as the sole basis for decisions with significant effects on a student.
Acceptable use
Do not harass others, submit unlawful content, attempt to access other users’ information, interfere with the service, bypass security controls, or misuse accounts or access codes. We may restrict access when necessary to address misuse or protect users and the service. Contact us if you believe a restriction is mistaken.
Plans and payments
Available features and usage limits depend on your plan. Any fees, billing period, renewal, cancellation, or refund conditions must be set out in the offer or agreement applicable to your purchase. These terms do not introduce an additional charge or override an agreed purchase term.
Availability and changes
Features may change and access may be interrupted for maintenance or technical reasons. Keep copies of materials you need to retain. We will identify revisions to these terms by updating the date on this page; changes remain subject to any applicable institutional agreement and legal requirements.
Ending use and your rights
You may stop using the service and contact us about account closure or data requests. Data retention and deletion are described in our Privacy Policy and applicable institutional agreements. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
